September 25, 2012: New Sedation Consortium on Endpoints and Procedures for Treatment, Education, and Research (SCEPTER)

The Sedation Consortium on Endpoints and Procedures for Treatment, Education, and Research (SCEPTER) has been established by ACTTION to develop evidence-based consensus recommendations for clinical trial designs, including efficacy and safety endpoints, for adult and pediatric procedural and ICU sedation products. A multidisciplinary Steering Committee of individuals with expertise in sedation clinical trials is currently being formed, and it is expected that SCEPTER’s activities will be of great interest to individuals from diverse medical specialties, including anesthesiologists, gastroenterologists, intensivists, emergency room physicians, and oral surgeons. If you are interested in being considered for the SCEPTER Steering Committee, please submit your CV here.
