June 15, 2011: Inaugural ACTION Scientific Workshop a Success
The very successful inaugural ACTION Scientific Workshop was held at the FDA's White Oak facility in Silver Spring, Maryland. The major objectives of the workshop were to describe current ACTION research projects and other initiatives; to obtain feedback and suggestions from interested individuals and organizations representing academia, industry, government agencies, and the public regarding the proposed ACTION Strategic Plan for transforming analgesic clinical trials; and to expand the Working Groups and other collaborative relationships that are responsible for research studies and other activities and the success of the Strategic Plan.
