December 26, 2012: Two ACTTION Abstracts Accepted for APS Annual Meeting
Two abstracts from the ACTTION Safety and Benefit-Risk Reporting and Evaluation (SABRRE) Working Group, chaired by Shannon Smith, PhD, have been accepted for presentation at the American Pain Society’s upcoming annual scientific meeting, which will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana from May 8-11, 2013:
1. Smith SM, Wang AT, Katz NP, Coplan P, Gilron I, Hertz SH, Lin AH, McDermott MP, Racoosin JA, Rappaport BA, Rowbotham MC, Sampaio C, Sweeney M, Turk DC, Dworkin RH. Adverse event assessment, analysis, and reporting in recent published analgesic clinical trials: ACTTION review and recommendations.
2. Smith SM, Wang AT, Pereira A, Chang RD, Greene K, Rowbotham MC, Coplan P, Gilron I, Hertz SH, Katz NP, Lin AH, McDermott MP, Rappaport BA, Sampaio C, Sweeney M, Turk DC, Dworkin RH. Discrepancies between published and registered primary outcomes in analgesic trials: ACTTION systematic review.
These abstracts will be published in the annual meeting supplement of the Journal of Pain.
